Chrissy Wallace To Make Hickory Late Model Debut on 7/15, 4 Races
Scheduled
This summer, 18-year-old and recent graduate Chrissy Wallace will
continue her move up in the ranks of racing when she will pilot a
late model at the famous Hickory Motor Speedway for multiple races.
Driving for Performance Center Racing based out of Statesville, NC,
Chrissy is scheduled to drive 5 races at HMS, starting with the 100
lap race on Saturday, July 15th. Lucas Oil and Tony Stewart's Smoke20.com
will be sponsoring Chrissy during these races.
"I am excited about racing again at Hickory Motor Speedway," said
Chrissy Wallace, who has driven around the .363 mile racing facility
in other racing series. "This will be my first race in a late model
at the track, but I am going with Performance Center Racing with
Lucas Oil and Smoke20.com on the car, so we are looking forward
to some great results."
"This is a great opportunity for Chrissy," said Mike Wallace, father
of Chrissy. "Last year Chrissy learned a lot driving a late model
at Concord Motorsports Park. This will continue her growth in the
sport of racing."
You can see Chrissy Wallace's Late Model Hickory debut Saturday July
15th in the 100 lap race, as well as the 50 lap races on July 22nd,
August 5th and the 100 lap race on August 12th. Also, you can see
Chrissy pilot her #4 Legends car Tuesdays during the 2006 Summer
